boomsatsuma Film School has become an official partner of Evolutions, the renowned Post Production House at the forefront of innovation in London and Bristol.
Evolutions is regularly recognised for its creativity, technical excellence, and innovation, having won a raft of Awards including RTS Awards, Golden Reels (MPSA) BAFTA’s, and the RTS Television Craft Awards. Freya Billington, Head of boomsatsuma Film School states:

Recent work made by Evolutions includes work as diverse as BBC’s Serengeti, Channel 4’s The Dog House, Sky Nature’s Gangs of Baboons, alongside Disney + Epic Adventures of Bertie Gregory and CITV’s Lloyd of The Flies. Evolutions recently scored very highly in several of the 2022 Televisual Magazine Top Post Houses Awards, including placement of 3rd in the TV Producers poll.
Boomsatsuma Film School is honoured to be the company’s first Educational partner in Bristol, taking students from our Post Production pathway Degrees to experience just some of what the company does, over several days’ work experience. Kieran Walker, a level 5 Post student was the first one and gained experience in Online Editing, Finishing and Mastering, Baselight Colour Grading, Edit and Media Support in addition to spending some time with their client services team. He says:
“I came back with increased confidence in the skills required to move into entry level positions within Post-Production, with a clearer sense of the many different fields within Post Production.
