 Level 3 Extended Diploma

sports media production.

This immersive course puts you on the touchline of a media career with sport at its heart, but gives you a whole kit bag crammed full of transferable skills you can take with you into varied career paths in creative, social and digital media.

You’ll build a broad portfolio in your first year, which will give you a robust understanding of the tools of the trade, before focusing them in your second year with a parallel work placement. This offers you the perfect opportunity to practice in a live, commercial sports environment. You’ll be taking match day photographs, making behind-the-scenes videos, live-streams and working on match day programmes.

We have associations with Bristol Sport through the Robins Foundation and long-term placements with Bristol Met Basketball Academy, Weston-super-Mare AFC and Inner City Football Academy.

All of our classrooms are placed within immersive environments, relevant to your studies. Your classroom for the Sports Media Production course is in Ashton Gate Stadium, with a view of the pitch.
